Kindness

In today’s lesson, we’re learning about kindness. Kindness is about how we treat others. Here are a few things to know about kindness. First, kindness is a Fruit of the Spirit. We’ve learned about the Fruits of the Spirit before. When we put our trust in Jesus, the Holy Spirit lives in our hearts and helps us to live the way God wants us to live. So, he helps us to grow in kindness, patience and love. Second, kindness comes from the love in our hearts for our friends and family. We’ll want to give a compliment or share our things because we care about them. Third, our kindness towards others makes them feel good. Think about a kind thing someone has done for you. Maybe they bought you a special gift or told you they loved your hair. Didn’t that make you feel good? When you’re kind, you make others feel good, too! One last thing, our kindness will reward us by giving us good friends. People will want to be around us and they’ll want to treat us the way we’ve treated them. So, remember to be kind. When you’re kind, you will be rewarded!
